ABOUT

Dr Ziggy (Zeigfeld Yu-Ting) Yeh is a General and Colorectal (bowel) Surgeon who completed his General Surgical training at Westmead Hospital, and awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012. He received further sub-speciality training in Acute Care/Emergency Surgery and Colorectal Surgery at Nepean Hospital. In addition, he completed prestigious overseas fellowship in Singapore General Hospital, where he was trained in both robotic surgery and pelvic exenteration (advanced surgery to remove large or complex colorectal cancer).

After completion of post-graduate fellowships, He worked in the Department of General Surgery, Blacktown Mt Druitt Hospital and the Department of Colorectal Surgery, Concord Hospital. He is a member of General Surgeon Australia, Society of Colorectal Surgeons (Singapore) and World Society of Emergency Surgery. He is also a clinical lecturer of the University of Sydney and the Western Sydney University.

Dr Yeh is specialised in open and laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery to treat rectal bleeding, haemorrhoids, anal fissure, perianal fistula, diverticular disease and bowel cancer. He provides gastroscopy and colonoscopy service to diagnose and treat digestive tract illness. Besides colorectal surgery, he is an experienced surgeon in treating many other conditions such as skin lesion, ingrowing toenail, carpal tunnel syndrome, gallstone disease and abdominal wall hernia.
